Founded in 1980 the Glebe Greyhounds Junior Football Club gives children from five to 16 the chance to play Australian Football. Our philosophy, every player who wants a game gets a game, means that the club prides itself on ensuring all players are treated equally and that our main priority is a fun, safe and family environment.

Hi new team members,

I thought I should pass on some important information to help your transformation into fantastic Aussie Rules players and good Greyhound club members.

The link below provides a copy of the general rules of Australian Rules football, plus the amended rules for our age group - U12s. I hope it is all clear. If you have any problems understanding these rules speak with me, Aidan or Mark at training.

Also below are words to the Greyhounds Club song. The tune to the song (and most of the lyrics) are based on the Collingwood Club song ("carn the Pies"). To listen to the tune use this link:

Glebe Club Song

Good old Greyhounds forever
We know how to play the game
Side by side we stick together
For the glory of the Greyhounds name
Hear the barrackers shouting
Come on, show them how we fight
All the premierships are easy
For the mighty black and white

So, play the Collingwood song, but sing the lyrics above. You'll soon get it.

See you all soon.

Regards,
