U14 – U17

Youth Footy is full‑sized AFL with full rules. It’s fast-paced, physical and highly rewarding, focusing on personal growth, resilience and advanced skills. Players train hard, form lifelong friendships and, for those who wish, begin their journey toward representative football.

Key Differences

  • Full tackling, bumping and smothering with a larger ball

  • 10 m kicks for marks, 15 m before bouncing and up to two bounces

  • Weekly training (often two sessions) with a strong focus on rotations, rest breaks and concussion protocols.

  • Opportunities to trial for talent programs and state teams.
