It's National Volunteers Week, so a huge thank you to everyone who pitches in each week — coaches, team managers, ground set-up, canteen and BBQ crew, umpires, ground managers, runners, water carriers, and our hard-working committee. You're the heart of the Greyhounds. 🐾

By popular demand, the Glebe Greyhounds Winter Holidays Footy Camp is back! It will be a great three days of fun and skill development at Jubilee Oval - Tuesday 7 July to Thursday 9 July, 9am to 3pm. This is the chance to get 'weeks worth' of skills work over just a few days to build on all the hard yards at training and games. Drop-off anytime from 8.30am and book into aftercare from 3pm to 5pm as needed. This camp will be run by Emma and team - former Glebe Greyhounds play

A mostly home fixture this weekend - fingers crossed we can get all games in! Jubilee Oval is draining well so we are cautiously optimistic we will play this weekend. We are proud to launch our updated indigenous clash guernsey this weekend, as part of Sir Doug Nicholls Round. The new design was created by the original artist Blak Douglas, building on our existing and much loved indigenous guernsey. In partnership with our new apparel supplier @S-Trend, we are rolling out the new design to the entire club. Starting with our U11B, U11G, U14B and U15G squads, all teams will progressively receive a new reversible guernsey over the next month

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We will remember them. On ANZAC Day, the Glebe Greyhounds pause to honour the Australians and New Zealanders who have served — and those who never came home. We remember their courage, their mateship, and their sacrifice. To all veterans, serving members and their families: thank you. Lest we forget.

Congratulations to Frankie Walsh on being named one of two recipients of the 2026 Frank Burton Scholarship!!! We are so proud of everything you have achieved and continue to do!! Frankie joined the QBE Sydney Swans Academy's U12 Youth Girl Squad in 2020 and played 123 junior games right here with the Glebe Greyhounds before moving on to senior football with Sydney University Football Club. Last year, she was selected in the Allies U18 squad as a bottom-aged player and feature

With training starting at Jubilee Oval this week, we can't wait for the 2026 season to start! AFL Sydney will release fixtures early next month. In the meantime, be sure to stick Round 1 in your calendar... Saturday 18 April and Sunday 19 April.
