Congratulations to Frankie Walsh on being named one of two recipients of the 2026 Frank Burton Scholarship!!! We are so proud of everything you have achieved and continue to do!!
Frankie joined the QBE Sydney Swans Academy's U12 Youth Girl Squad in 2020 and played 123 junior games right here with the Glebe Greyhounds before moving on to senior football with Sydney University Football Club.
Last year, she was selected in the Allies U18 squad as a bottom-aged player and featured in three games at the U18 National Championships — all while completing her HSC.
The Frank Burton Scholarship recognises male and female footballers who excel on and off the field. Once a Greyhound, always a Greyhound!
