What an incredible evening for the Glebe Greyhounds at the AFL Sydney Juniors Presentation Night! Our club's stars truly lit up the stage, bringing home an impressive collection of awards that showcase the talent, dedication, and community spirit that defines our Greyhounds family.
Our Champions
The Girls Leading the Way
Our girls delivered outstanding results across multiple divisions! Lily Harman claimed Best and Fairest in U15G Division 3, Beth Coughlan finished Runner-up Best and Fairest in U15G Division 2, and Madi McCarthy - won the U17G Division 2 Best and Fairest Award. What an incredible night for our girls' program!
Boys Making Their Mark
The boys weren't to be outdone, with Owen Fitzpatrick and Cooper Willis delivering a stunning one-two punch in U14B Division 1. Owen claimed the Best and Fairest winner while Cooper finished as Runner-up - what an incredible achievement for both players and a testament to the strength of our program.
Coaching Excellence Recognised
Nick Woodall has been named the Kevin Sheedy Coach of the Year winner! This prestigious award recognises not just coaching excellence, but the values, mentorship, and positive impact that Nick brings to our young players every week. It's an honour that reflects the heart and soul of what the Greyhounds represent.
A Community Effort
Behind every successful player is a network of support - coaches, volunteers, parents, and committee members who give their time and energy to make magic happen every week. These awards belong to all of us.
As we celebrate tonight's success, we're also looking ahead to 2026 with excitement. With achievements like these and the passionate community behind them, the future of Greyhounds football is incredibly bright.
Congratulations to all our award winners - you make us all proud to be Greyhounds!
