Season 2026: back to training at Jubilee Oval

Wow, that happened quickly... next week we'll be formally commencing season 2026, with training resuming on our newly renovated Jubilee Oval. I can't wait.
As many of you know, the Glebe Greyhounds is your club. We are proud of the 540 kids who pulled on the black and white last season — 150 of them girls — and the sense of belonging, confidence and joy this club gives them every weekend.
My main ask of you at this time (other than ensuring your child/ren are registered for 2026!) is to consider how you might help the Greyhounds this year.

Training resumes next week
Yes, it's that time! Training for season 2026 commences in the week beginning 2 March.
At this stage, only runners are permitted on Jubilee Oval. We'll let you know when it's time to switch over to footy boots.
Registrations are now due
If you are considering playing in 2026, we need you to sign up now. Some teams are nearing capacity, and we need to know player numbers to inform the AFL about our team nominations. Registering also ensures your child is covered by AFL insurance at both training and games.
You are our greatest ambassadors — please help us recruit
We are always on the lookout for more players! Please help promote the Greyhounds at your school, summer sports club, or wherever you can. Word of mouth is our most powerful recruitment tool — your enthusiasm is what brings new families to the club.
